2025 Updates & Enhancements

The public pages (that you see when you are not logged in) were revamped. We also snazzed up the Dashboard a little bit, and added some more languages.

Now you can watch your snipes execute in real time! This is just another way we bring transparency and accountability to the service.

Using Slam-It, you can now add notes to any auction, even if you do not add a snipe for it. Each time you pull up Slam-It, it will remember the note. It's a good way to remember if you've visited that snipe previously.

Our first AI-based feature! Track your packages---and their ship routes---on a global map. It's color-coded to denote packages that are experiencing delays. We are the first service to introduce this feature specifically for eBay. Check it out! It's interactive. This feature is being tested with a few customers right now, and will be released next month. We'd love to get your feedback on things that would make this feature very useful.

We've had Grid View and List View. Now there is Images View, so you can see all of the images on one page in a masonry layout.

Now you will be alerted to a Fixed Price auctions, which cannot be sniped. No more finding out after the fact. (Buy-It-Now items can still be sniped after a manual bid conversion, if the seller enabled that option on the auction.)

About a dozen different Trust & Safety error situations are detected with more accuracy now, helping you navigate the challenges of buying weapons, jewelry, cosmetics, and similar items. Please take a few minutes to review the new Trust and Safety Errors help page.

• Search Descriptions: There is a checkbox for this now.
• Advanced Searches: You can combine searches and use phrases and negative keywords, as described on the new Advanced Search Help Page.
• Category Filtering: Search results now list the categories, so you can narrow your search results.
• Category Suggestion Tool: The search results show you the most popular categories for your search, allowing you to narrow further.
• Auto-complete: The search box will auto-complete with your Saved Searches.

• Reformatted: Now displays the full item title.
• E-Mail Integration: You can change bids directly from Outbid Notices and Auction Tribune emails.
• Please Re-install: This is not required, but it will remove the brief flicker when the pages redraws itself.

• Search Engine Carry-Over: All of the new features in the search engine carry over to Saved Searches and Auction Tribune.
• Emails Reformatted: Auction Tribune looks more like a real newspaper now. (This one's our favorite.)

• Outbid Notices: Now sent more frequently, and closer to the ending time of the auction.
• Revoked Authorizations: Now detected and sent no less than 4 hours before an auction ends. Also, we no longer set the bids to zero.
